Allergen Information:
At Mrs. Fields Fundraising, quality is our top most priority. We are very conscious about product containing tree nuts and allergens. Daily production at our cookie factory is scheduled using our manufacturing software application. The program has an inbuilt check that does not allow for allergen product mixes to be scheduled before non-allergen product mixes.
Mixes containing tree nuts and allergens are always run at the end of the production day, or on “Allergen only” production days to avoid any cross contamination. Nut and nut products are stored away from the production floor.
As part of the HACCP and allergen policy, production runs are reviewed every day to monitor adherence. All our equipment is cleaned extensively after every mix and after every shift. Microbial testing is performed biweekly on al equipment to monitor our sanitation procedures.
However, even with all procedures to eliminate tree nuts in non-allergen products, we are not able to guarantee that the non-allergen product to be 100% free of tree nuts. We follow FDA labeling guidelines for listing all allergens contained in the product.
